TUHON JARED WIHONGI
A living embodiment of the warrior spirit inherited from his Maori ancestors. His journey in martial arts commenced at a tender age, beginning with Shorinji Kempo in New Zealand. Embracing the Filipino Martial Arts while living in the Philippines 25 years ago, he soared to the esteemed rank of Tuhon in Pekiti Tirsia Kali. His passion for martial disciplines led him to explore Boxing during his formative years, and he immersed himself in Muay Thai, captivated by its streamlined efficacy.
Jared's pursuit of martial excellence went beyond training, as he worked as a Nightclub Bouncer in Honolulu, Hawaii, pressure-testing the synergistic blend of Kali, Muay Thai, and Jiu-Jitsu he had honed over the years. His path soon merged with a distinguished 22-year career in Law Enforcement, where he served as a street Cop, SWAT Operator, and Police Trainer.
Jared's expertise extends into the realm of Close-Quarters Combat, where he stands as a renowned authority. He excels in integrating firearms, impact weapons, edged weapons, and empty-hand combat, with a strong emphasis on police, military, and self-defense contexts. His mastery culminated in the development of the TRICOM system.
Jared imparts his TRICOM system to elite police and military Special Operations units and civilian martial artists worldwide. His unparalleled reputation resonates across continents, as he is acknowledged as one of the foremost global authorities on the modern tactical application of the art of Kali.
TUHON RAY DIONALDO
Tuhon Ray Dionaldo, born on August 30, 1967, in Manila, Philippines, is the esteemed founder of Filipino Combat Systems (FCS KALI). At a tender age of 14, his Kali journey commenced under the tutelage of Master Bugin Mateen, whose relentless and intense training instilled a drive for excellence in young Ray.
A true visionary, Ray Dionaldo represents the new wave of martial arts masters, ingeniously adapting ancient Filipino arts to fit the demands of our modern era. Devoting a significant portion of his life to mastering these arts, he trained extensively under revered masters such as Professor Remy Presas, Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje, Tatang Bo Sayoc, Tuhon Christopher Sayoc, Guro Dan Inosanto, Ama Guro Raffy Pambuan, and, of course, his early mentor, Bugin Mateen. Despite his extraordinary skill, Tuhon Ray remains remarkably humble, creating FCS KALI as an independent system solely at the direct request of the late Professor Remy Presas and other esteemed masters.

GRAND MASTER BOBBY TABOADA
Grandmaster Bobby Taboada, hailing from Cebu City, Philippines, was nurtured in a thriving martial arts culture, and it was in this birthplace of Balintawak that his journey commenced. Immersed in diverse fighting arts like karate and boxing, he found his calling when introduced to the Balintawak school, guided by eminent figures such as Great Grand Master Venancio "Anciong" Bacon, Grand Masters Teofilo Velez, and Jose Villasin.
As a globetrotting teacher, he has trained martial arts practitioners across the United States and various corners of the world, including England, Australia, Germany, and Canada. Through his diligent efforts, GM Taboada has groomed a dedicated group of Qualified Instructors, authorized to carry forth his Balintawak curriculum.
The martial arts community recognizes GM Taboada's exemplary contributions, as evidenced by his induction into the World Head Council of Family Sokeship's International Hall of Fame in 2000, with the prestigious title of Millenium Grand Master.
In 2002, he was further honored with the title of Distinguished Grand Master. Despite such acclaim, GM Taboada remains remarkably humble and approachable, inspiring reverence and admiration in all those fortunate enough to encounter him. His legacy as a respected master, exceptional teacher, and an outstanding human being continues to shine brightly within martial arts circles.
